Try disabling steam communities In-game GUI
If your game hangs when trying to join a server, start the game, join the server,

You can adjust the sleep time to w/e you want.
Try a lower value like 50 or 100, and then try higher values like 300 or more (dont go over 3000 as it will most likely never work).

hey,i also downloaded this from elsewhere,but also from here - i got the issue that it always says iw5mp.exe not working anymore.
of course i deactivated firewall and microsoft security essentials(AV) but it is still not working.
i also tried several startup orders,but they changed nothing.
i would really appreciat it,if u help me.

What OS are you on? And you have to turn off steam community ingame GUI or it will crash every time.

i am running Win7 64bit and yes,i have deactived steam community ingame in the "ingame-options".

do i have to set me steam to english? i am currently running it in german and playing mw3 in english would cause to load 2x 7gb of update.

There is an edit function, check at the bottom of the post...
And what antivirus do you have? Do you have Xfire ingame or another ingame software?
You could try launching it after launching the game if it still doesnt work.

Also the forum auto combines double posting.

ingame-antivirus is a thing i dont have
i have got Microsoft Security Essentials as Anti-Vir program, but its not even noticing the EXE.
if i launch and "load" the hack after the game it crashes too.

ive got the same problem.
Even deinstalled my norton.
no use:(
always seeing iw5mp.exe (or smthing) not working. or stopped working.
would be so nice if this thing works!

Exact same problem for me, W7 64 bit, ingame overlay disabled, just crashes the game. Also tried running as admin but didn't help.

hmm ill have to check it out when i get home and see whats up. Maybe I will just change the loader so that you can adjust the sleep time from machine to machine.

Hi there, I think they updated the game recently on Steam so that may be why it does not work for anyone. Just out of curiosity, does this even work for you? I tried all the settings including disabling steam communities, adding prog to av exclusions, running prog as admin and setting the loader timing from 100 to 300 to 500 to 1000 to 2000. Always crashed at start-up.

the new one gives the same error...did u just added a sleeptime for anything? that didnt help

ofc it works for me or I wouldn't have released it. I'll post a SS later when I get home again. I am about to go out for the whole day.

Also you could try a sleep of 50 or possibly 250. I just do not know why people are having such issues with it...
