Hey guys, me and a friend recently purchased some HL1 League proof hacks and we occasionally both get extremely bad lag spikes and our FPS drops to 5-10. I did some reading on these forums and saw one other person had the same problem and Jimster suggested using 32bit instead of 16bit. We both tried it and didn't notice any differences, we both have different internet providers so it's not our connection or anything. If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it!

Yeah, that is the side effects of using hacks.
I have the same problem, Jim is trying to find out why.

i got the same thing as well, lag spikes and very choppy game play. withouth them cs is perfectly fine. i messaged jimster and he isnt sure about this either, trying to find a solution for it

hopefully the new version fixes this. I am trying to get it to compile on VS 2008, but the SDK for HL1 is made for VC++ 97 (6.0)

well..if your getting 5-10 fps in an ancient game like cs 1.6...i think its about time to upgrade your voodoo hardware

I turned off my tripple buffering and it knocked my FPS back up to 100 (80-90 w/ the cheats), regardless when the lag spikes hit it drops down to 15-20 and the lag is unbearable. And my graphics card/computer are fine, Also.. are the HL1's XPL proof? I'm only seeing cal/cevo etc, but I could have sworn I saw a bigger list of things it's proofed from.

yes, i just dont have all the proofings listed in the instructions. but it works on GameGuardian

Alright cool, one more quick question. Do you have any idea when the new version might come out? I was hoping it might be before the start of the cevo season ^.^ it would suck to have all of that lag durring a match :/

the only reason he'd update his actual cheat is if vac updated, which since vac no longer fucks with 1.6, i think he'd update the cevo dll loader( i forget its name) and you should get an email or something about it.

what graphics card do you have? how much video ram?

&& its normal to get some fps drops if you see like five of them.

I already have a new version for the league proofing module, but I will be updating the cheat itself to see if it helps the people who have FPS issues with it.
